Posted 11/01/2011
The Washington Metropolitan Transportation Authority (WMATA) in our nation's capital has chosen Ridecheck Plus as the agency’s ridership reporting solution. The agency has 1,260 buses and 830 rail cars at peak service. For bus service, Ridecheck Plus will process ridership information from automatic passenger counters provided by Clever Devices. Many buses are already equipped with APCs, and WMATA intends to equip most of the remaining fleet over the next few years. |
